Local Family-Owned Business Teams up with New Orleans Saints to Raise Funds for Hurricane Relief

December 12, 2005

John Conod, owner of eXtreme Custom Billiards recently created a 60’s, Hippie themed pool table featured in the popular television show Monster House. Now, Conod’s sister and company executive, Patty Oswalt, will deliver a special table to representatives from the New Orleans Saints in San Antonio, Texas (1001 E. Market Street, San Antonio)

The table is “Saintly” in its design, theme and quality. eXtreme Custom Billiards has pledged 100% of the net proceeds to benefit the New Orleans Saints Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.

“This is a stunningly beautiful pool table,” said primary owner, John Conod, “with a high gloss black finish and gold details. The New Orleans Saints players are autographing the pool table cabinet to increase its value.”

The three owners of Extreme Custom Billiards, John, his wife Mary and sister Patty Oswalt are all lifelong residents of Florida and felt this was the perfect opportunity to show their gratitude for all the help Florida had received during the 2004 hurricane season.

“We have been deeply moved by everything that has happened in the Gulf Coast.” said Oswalt, “It’s our turn to provide assistance.”

The pool table is being transported to Paul Corliss, of the New Orleans Saints Community Affairs at 1001 E. Market Street, San Antonio, Texas on December 19, 2005 for the autographs. A short photo session will take place the afternoon of December 27th, after which it will be returned to Florida. The auction will take place on Ebay after the 1st of the year.

Paul Corliss can be contacted by telephone at 210-208-9512.
